£50k Raised: Agents Giving Golf Day at The Belfry

The weather did not play ball at The Belfry, but the golf day still raised an incredible £50,000 for Bone Cancer Research Trust. Calvin and Freddie were back on the buggies, Ryan and Ben were out on the course, and nobody went home disappointed with the day.

The Day

Not One For The Sun Cream

If you have played golf in Britain, you will know the feeling. You book a championship course months in advance, picture yourself strolling down the fairway in the sunshine, and then the forecast arrives.

The Agents Giving golf day at The Belfry was not a sun cream sort of day. But it is a hard place to have a bad time, and nobody let the sky get in the way.

Ryan and Ben flew the CRE flag on the course, while Calvin and Freddie went back to what they know best after Donnington Valley - driving the buggies and making sure every group had a drink in hand, whatever the weather was doing.

The Cause

£50,000 For Bone Cancer Research Trust

The number that matters: £50,000 raised for Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Bone Cancer Research Trust is the UK's leading charity dedicated to primary bone cancer, a rare disease that most often affects children, teenagers and young adults. It funds research into better treatments and provides information and support for patients and families. Raising that much in a single day, in that weather, says a lot about the room.

Thank You

Same Again Next Year?

Thank you to David, Yvonne and Vikki at Agents Giving for another brilliantly organised day, to The Belfry for hosting, and to every team, sponsor and bidder who dug deep.

We will be back - umbrella packed this time. If you are fundraising for something, we would like to hear about it. Get in touch, or follow the blog to keep up with what we are supporting next.
