Introduction
A Conference Built On Trust
Kerfuffle exists to answer one question every estate agent asks sooner or later: which of these suppliers can I actually trust? There are more proptech and service providers chasing agents than anyone has time to vet, so Kerfuffle does the vetting - reviewing suppliers, checking references and putting the ones worth talking to in front of agents.
KCon is where that idea becomes a day out. This year it moved to the ICC in Newport, South Wales, under a theme that could not have suited us better: Built on Trust. Senior agents, suppliers and industry figures, all in one place, talking about the relationships that hold an agency together.
We made the trip west, and it turned out to be well worth the drive.
The Day
Substance Over Noise
Kerfuffle's own pitch for the conference was substance over noise, and the line-up backed it up. Headline speaker Josh Phegan, one of the best-known names in agency coaching worldwide, was joined by former Porsche UK chief executive Kevin Gaskell on business transformation, Alastair Campbell on leadership under pressure, and a strong set of speakers from inside the industry.
The common thread was trust - in your team, in your advice and in the partners you build your business on. For a room full of agents who have all, at some point, signed with a supplier who promised more than they delivered, it was a theme that landed.
Between sessions, the floor was busy all day. We had some brilliant conversations with agents about the parts of their phone setup that quietly cost them every week - missed calls nobody follows up, CRM records nobody has time to update, and contracts that went up every April without anyone noticing.
The Award
Telephony, Networking & IT Supplier Of The Year
Then came the evening, and the Trusted Agent Awards 2026, hosted by comedian and broadcaster Dara Ó Briain. If you are going to sit through an awards ceremony, having one of the sharpest hosts in British comedy running it helps.
And then our category came round. Telephony, Networking & IT Supplier of the Year - and the winner was CRE Group.
It means a lot, and not just because it was our first award of 2026. Kerfuffle's awards are built on what agents actually say about the suppliers they use, which is exactly the kind of recognition you cannot buy. It is agents saying we did what we said we would.
An award voted on by trust, at a conference built on trust. We will take that.
Why It Matters
What We Are Actually Being Recognised For
We only work with estate agents. That focus is the whole point, and it is the reason this one matters to us.
It shows up in the things agents tell Kerfuffle about us. Direct integration with Alto, Reapit, Street, Loop, Rex, Dezrez, MRI, SME and more, so calls bring up the right record and log themselves. CRE Connect, our AI call intelligence, included with every phone system rather than sold as an add-on. Fixed pricing for the full term, a choice of 3, 5 or 7 years, and one account manager from start to finish. And when you ring us, we answer in five rings.
None of that is glamorous. All of it is why agents trust us with their phones.
Thank You
To Kerfuffle, And To Every Agent Who Backed Us
A huge thank you to Simon and the whole Kerfuffle team for a brilliantly run KCon, to Dara for keeping the evening moving, and congratulations to every other winner and shortlisted supplier on the night.
Most of all, thank you to the agents who put their trust in us and told Kerfuffle so. This one is yours as much as ours.
If you are a Kerfuffle member, remember that any new branch you open during your contract with CRE is installed and connected free, at the same rate as your existing branches - just use code KERFUFFLE when you get in touch. Book a telecoms review, or follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram.
