Hot Property: The LonRes Summer Party 2026

A last-minute booking turned into one of our favourite afternoons of the summer. LonRes brought London's property industry to Belgrave Square on what felt like the hottest day of the year, and we spent it in the shade, cold drink in hand, meeting some of the best agents in the capital.

Introduction

The Best Last-Minute Decision Of The Summer

Some of the best events in the calendar are the ones you plan for months. Others land in your inbox a week before and you say yes before you have checked the diary.

The LonRes Summer Party was the second kind. It was a late booking for us, and one we are very glad we made.

If you work in London property, you will know LonRes. It is the platform a huge number of the capital's agents use every day for live sales and lettings data, comparables, research and referrals - and it is built on a simple idea that more gets done when agents work together rather than in silos. Once a year, it brings the people behind all that data together in one place for an afternoon. This year, that place was Belgrave Square.

The Day

Belgravia, In The Heat

There are worse places to spend a summer afternoon than a private garden square in the middle of Belgravia. There are not many hotter ones, though.

The party landed on the hottest day of the year, and the sun did not let up. Jackets came off early. The shade under the trees became the most sought-after real estate in SW1, which, given the guest list, is saying something. Cold drinks were not so much a refreshment as a survival strategy.

None of it dampened the afternoon. If anything, it helped. It is hard to stay formal when everyone is equally overheated, and the conversations came easier because of it.

The People

London's Agents, All In One Square

The guest list was the real draw. LonRes brings together everyone from the largest global firms to the most carefully curated boutique agencies, and it was all of them in one garden for an afternoon - sales, lettings, brokers and buying agents, plus a few of us who work alongside them.

We met some brilliant agents, caught up with familiar faces and swapped more than a few business cards. The conversations were the kind you only get away from the office: what is actually working this year, what is not, and which bits of the job still take far longer than they should. More than one of those came back to the phones - the call nobody had time to log, the enquiry that went to voicemail, the CRM that never quite knows who rang.

The day also brought the announcement of the 2026 LonRes Awards, in association with The London Magazine, recognising the best in London sales, lettings, brokers and buying agents. Congratulations to everyone shortlisted and to every winner.

Why LonRes

Why We Were Proud To Be There

CRE Group was one of the sponsors of this year's party, alongside a strong line-up of names from across the industry, and it was a pleasure to support it.

It also fits the way we work. LonRes members trade on speed, accuracy and knowing the market before anyone else, and almost all of that happens on the phone. We are the only telecoms provider working with LonRes, building direct integration between your phone system and your CRM, so every call brings up the right record and logs itself when it ends - with CRE Connect, our AI call intelligence, included as standard.

Thank You

Until Next Summer

A huge thank you to the whole LonRes team for a brilliantly organised afternoon, for the shade, and for every cold drink that made it possible. And thank you to every agent who stopped to chat in the heat - it was a pleasure to meet you.

If we did not get to you on the day, we would still like to. Book a telecoms review, or follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram to see where we are heading next. We will be back next summer, sun cream packed.
